I had the pleasure on the 10th February 2017 to attend the London’s Calling Salesforce conference.
My overall impression was not particularly good as I believed that the level of presentations should have been much better. However I did meet some great people and had the opportunity to chat with Belinda Parmar regarding empathy.
I would definitely recommend reading about empathy and following Belinda on LinkedIn.
I would also like to mention some of the quotes I got as part of the keynote speech of the #Salesfoce VP Peter Coffee who touched on management and leadership:
“You can supervise a robot, you can manage a horse…but you can only lead those who choose to follow you”
And the three duckers:
“There is nothing quite so useless as doing with great efficiency something that should not be done at all”
“If you want something new, you have to stop doing something old”
“Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things”
